Vanilla used to be a Pure Witch of the Church. She is now a member of the Witch Union.

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Personality[edit | edit source]

Vanilla is a timid person. Despite starting off as a pure witch, due to having awakened only shortly before the battle with Graycastle, she does not feel any hostility to other witches and joins the Witch Union after the Church's defeat.

Background[edit | edit source]

At some point, Vanilla would have been adopted by the church in their efforts to gather witches. She awakened shortly before the battle with Graycastle and was kept by Zero in her strategy to absorb Roland.

Chronology[edit | edit source]

Vanilla is one of the few witches Zero did not sacrifice to make more God's Punishment Warriors as she was needed to locate Roland's position during the battle.[1] After the battle was finished, she was discovered quivering alongside a passed out Isabella and Margie.

During Isabella's interrogation, Roland reveals to her that he allowed Margie and Vanilla to join the Witch's Union since they had never directly caused anyone harm.[2]

Vanilla joins Mystery Moon in her second detective case although Lily believes that she was just too nervous to say no.[3]

She eventually helps Graycastle's Intelligence Agency to get proof on the suspects of the murder of Smarty (the one who informed Graycastle of Sky Lord Hackzord's powers), due to the same blood scent being in the letter and in the murderers bodies. [4]

She later joins the Armor Unit to fight against sky-sea realm. [5]

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Magic[edit | edit source]

Awakening[edit | edit source]

Enhanced Smell: She can sniff out various unimaginable smells when she cast her ability. In her opinion, bloodstains after a month would still emit a faint stench and there would be a strange odor on furs when animals were in the rut.[1]

Relationships[edit | edit source]

Church[edit | edit source]

Vanilla was a pure witch for a very short time before the Church's downfall, and it is unclear how attached she was to it at the time.

Witch Union[edit | edit source]

Vanilla joins the Witch Union during Roland's two month coma. She is not often seen interacting with the other witches, but she does seem to be getting along with them as evidenced by Mystery Moon going to get her for the second detective case.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Her power could be considered useless. But Roland could find a way to use her magic for detecting hazardous materials or scavenging.
