Taquila Witches are the surviving witches of the old union (Witch Federation).

Background[]

After the old Union's fall, many joined Lady Alice and became what is now known as the Church. The rest followed Lady Natalia and became the Taquila Witches.

Chronology[]

Strength[]

God's Punishment Witches[]

Later in the story, it was revealed that the development of God's Punishment Warriors was part of another project to turn witches with non-combat abilities into powerful fighters called God's Punishment Witches, planned during the time of the Witch Federation, 450 years ago.

If compared to the God's Punishment Warriors, God's Punishment Witches seem to be vastly superior, as the former is incomplete. This may be due to the fact that God's Punishment Warriors were created to hunt witches and demon beasts, not powerful demons.

Senses[]

  • When a random witch's soul is inserted into God's Punishment Warrior's body(GPW), theories suggest that the original body's Taste, Smell and Touch is disabled, leaving only Sight and Hearing. This is probably to maximize the amount of efficiency the GPW has. However this come at a small cost to the witches. They won't be able to smell and taste the allure of food anymore, and although weird, won't be able to feel pain for centuries. This all changed when Phyllis first entered Roland's Dream World by accident, where she and her fellow GPWs are happy to enjoy what it means to be a human again after centuries of dulled senses.

Trivia[]

  • They are also called "the Sleeping ones" or "the Walking ones".
