Nana loves her father and wishes that he would remarry. Unlike most parents, he accepts her status as a witch quite well and is very protective of her. Despite this, Nana initially feared he would reject her ans attempt to fight Roland to send her to the Church for execution.

Nana was taught to embrace her identity as a witch by Roland

Nana was brought to Roland by her teacher Karl for protection following her awakening as a witch. Initially fearful of the prince, Nana quickly warmed up to him after he explained her magic was not demonic in origin and could be used to help others. Roland helped her learn the extent if her powers upon their initial appearance, even using his teachings to help herself better understand her magic. Since then, she followed his requests to help heal the First Army and Kyle Sichi after his lab accident; as a result, Nana frequently travels at Roland's request.

Nana is the second official member of the group. While not as outgoing and outspoken as other members, Nana does her best to help newcomers feel welcomed. Nana is close to Mystery Moon, Hummingbird, Lightning and Maggie; the youngest members of the Union along with her. Nana is typically one of the busiest members of the group; sometimes working with Lily in medical care.

A fellow student of Karl's. Nana initially seeks comfort from Anna until she builds up her confidence. Nana typically is never too far from Anna during Witch Union parties, always being the first to get her cooking. Nana assisted Anna during the creation of Sigils.

City of Neverwinter[]

Nana Pine is the most popular witch in the City of Neverwinter. She is called Angel and highly revered by the First Army and civilians. Thanks to her healing ability, the Border Town Militia followed by citizens changed their attitude towards witches.
